New Issue of Sufi Magazine with an article from Yours Truly

I just wanted to let you all know about the new issue of Sufi magazine that is available now.  The theme of this issue was Divine Love. Its features some great articles from:

• Dr. Alireza Nurbakhsh – Current Master of the Nimatullai Sufi Order
• Coleman Barks – Popular and Reknown Interpreter of Rumi
• Llewellyn Vaughan Lee – Sufi Sheikh in the Naqshbandiyya-Mujaddidiyya Sufi Order.

There articles range in topic from Layla and Majnun, A Retrospective look at Sri Rabinath Tagore, and a discussion of Rumi’s tales Moses and the Shepard.

Also there is a great Review Section which features movie as well as  book reviews.  I had the good fortune of contributing a book review on the book by Lourdes Maria Avarez, Abu Al-hasan Al-shushtari: Songs of Love and Devotion and being among such hallowed company.
