Q: Please speak to the uniqueness of each soul and how we become aware of our place in the universe.
Each of us is a unique expression of Truth. There is none like us, nor will there ever be another exactly like us. We develop, at our own pace, in understanding of our cosmic potential. While we are similar in many ways, we are a singular combination of wants, desires, talents, and universal consciousness that has developed over millennia.
There is an old saying ‘you cannot step into the same river twice.’ While, on the surface, overtime the water appears the same, below there is an interplay of factors that is forever changing. The stream’s bottom is shifting, due to the currents. Fish are swimming, plants are growing, and temperature is rising and falling. The water itself is filled with different nutrients that relate to the composition of soil upriver and what elements have been added or dumped into the river across the countryside.
As discussed earlier, the unfolding of knowledge is on many levels. Each is born with an inner, spiritual understanding of their relationship to Truth and what they must accomplish. This awareness of the cosmic potential is brought to what we call consciousness, gradually, and at different rates for each learner. This rate of learning is dependent upon the traveler’s effort and their role in the cosmic classroom.
Service
Traveler: Holy One, speak to us of Service.
Master: As the stars in the heavens give light to the darkness, as the sun gives warmth to the land, as the rain quiets the flower’s thirst, so it is with all of the creation. Each is Created to serve and do God’s Will.
Be like the river that waters the countryside and gives to all travelers. Some will come to make their home and others will come to learn the secrets. Some will come to cleanse themselves and others to leave their garbage. Like the river, let each take what they need and flow onward.
Traveler: What is the nature of the service that I must do?
Master: Each traveler is created with many talents and answer lies within. Ask God and God will guide you to your destiny. If you remember God’s Name; God will fill you with strength and Light, and all your questions will have answers.
God created us with so many talents and so many of us don’t use the God-given talents that we have. We have an obligation to find our talents and use them for the good of the world. The world is constantly changing (you can’t step into the same river twice) and we have to change and adapt to use our talents in this world,
