Do you have the Patience to wait – Repsonce to two comments from Readers

In a Previous Post entitled “Become What You Are“, two readers left some comments that remind me of a quote I wanted to post here. I remember reading in a book about sufism that this path was an effortless path.  We have to let all pretence of what we want to happen go so what has to happen can take place within us on its own accord naturally like a flower opening up to the sunshine. The author quote a few lines from Lao Tzu and I wanted to put them here for you with the reader comments.

Reader comments

  1. Endless Becoming
  2. Just become, like a flower becomes a fruit. It’s all built in, within. just allow it to work out

Lao Tzu quote:

Do you have the patience to wait
till your mud settles and the water is clear?
Can you remain un-moving
till the right action arises by itself?

I think that is the challenge to be stilled in the center of our being.

Patience is so difficult, but so necessary to live a good life.
