    Thank you for posting this video and enlightening me. As a new Muslima, I was not aware that Islam had a tradition that parallels lectio divina, the Christian tradition with which I am very familiar and love very much. I will devot some time with the Qura’an to let the verses “wash over me” instead of reading analytically and intellectually, as I did with lectio divina. The Arabic of the Qur’an is so musical and poetic, that this type of meditation will be a true gift to me.

    :) Nice .. same thing is true about anything though – in every encounter and person is a revelation of the Divine – for where God isn’t? God is everywhere and in everything …so when one employs this method so beautifully described in this video cannot help but see in everything God’s hand at work ♥
